CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Eddie Jones just can't get it off his mind.
'I keep saying I want to go through one of those stretches where we win 14 games like they did last year,' Jones said. 'I want to go through one of those stretches.'
The Mavs strung together winning streaks of 12, 13 and 17 games last season.
But, through 40 games this season, the best they've managed is two five-gamers and the recent surge of seven straight. Since then, the Mavs are 1-2, with losses marked by a rash of turnovers and defensive lapses. Read more
